My OP Minion System in the Apocalypse

Chapter 250 High Rankers

"Okay, don\'t worry about it," she said soothingly to him, as they continued their conversation. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and it was the manager, bringing them breakfast. They sat down at the table, enjoying the meal together and making small talk, relishing the opportunity to reconcile. When they finished, they left the house with a sense of relief and contentment.

The barracks was abuzz with activity, as the minions that had sustained injuries in the previous battle were now back in fighting form, eager to prove their worth. All the minions were assembled on the training grounds, except for the intelligence variants, who were different from the others. They possessed a unique quality, walking around and completing tasks on their own, much like humans.

As they walked, I couldn\'t help but remember the incident from earlier that day, where some individuals had attempted to reach me and the warrior minions had handled the situation poorly. I pondered over the matter, realizing that the intelligence variants would make excellent security guards, as they possessed a better understanding of human behavior.

I shared my thoughts with Chloe, who agreed wholeheartedly, suggesting that the intelligence variants be trained in specific categories to maximize their potential. These minions were already skilled fighters and I had appointed them as the commanders of my groups, as they possessed an astute tactical mind and were able to devise strategies that would ensure victory.

Appointing them as guards would provide a sense of reassurance to the residents of the city, as they could easily communicate with them and relay their messages to me. With this decision made, I opened the advanced control system and summoned eight of the intelligence variants, assigning four of them as guards for each of us.

Feeling satisfied with the changes I had made, I then turned my attention to the weapons inventory. I wanted to ensure that each category of minions was equipped with the most suitable weapons, providing them with an advantage in battle. I ventured to the weapons storage facility along with Chloe, eager to see the weapons we had in our possession.

I was especially interested in finding crossbows, as I had lost ten minions in the previous battle, owing to the incredible speed at which the enemy had fired their crossbows. My plan was to create an elite group of archers that would inflict double the damage, and I searched the storage facility for the crossbows.

I finally found them, hidden away in one section, and I instructed the intelligence variants to count the bows. To my delight, there were 100 of them in total, and I made the decision to use half of them to train the elite group. The rest of the crossbows would be distributed among the rest of the archers, providing them with equal strength in battle.

I left the storage facility feeling confident and optimistic, knowing that these changes would greatly benefit our army in future battles. The intelligence variants, with their unique qualities and training, would provide a formidable defense against any enemy that dared to challenge us.

A elite squad of archers was a wise addition to my army, so I thought about creating a new batch of 100 archer minions, each with a unique design. I had the privilege of selecting their attire and I wanted them to stand apart from the rest of my minions. I envisioned them as a symbol of excellence and distinction.

I then shifted my focus to improving the weapons of my brute force minions. These warriors were formidable, but their weapons needed an upgrade to match their imposing size and strength. Previously, they had only been equipped with swords, but I had provided some of them with massive mallets just before the last battle. I envisioned them with weapons that befitted their image as the brute force of my army.

As I rummaged through the storage facility, I couldn\'t find any suitable weapons for them. Chloe, who was with me, noticed my frustration and asked what I was searching for. I explained my thoughts and she listened intently. After a moment of contemplation, she came up with a brilliant idea. She suggested that we request the local weapon makers to forge giant axes that would be in proportion to the size of the brute force minions. I was impressed by her suggestion and I immediately dispatched a guard to summon the weapon master.

While I continued my search, I stumbled upon a piece of armor in the weaponry. It was light, but strong enough to resist arrow attacks. I asked Chloe to try it on, but she expressed her concerns about the difficulty of fighting in such armor. However, I had different plans for it. I wanted to provide these armors to my magic minions who were the most vulnerable as they relied on their hands, not weapons, to unleash their spells. Chloe agreed that it was a wise choice and we decided to forge more of these armors for the magic minions.

Just as we were deep in discussion, the minion manager arrived with an intelligence variant who had returned from a long and arduous journey. The variant was covered in dust, his hair, face, and attire a mess from the sandstorm he had encountered. The minion manager informed me that the variant had some news for me. I nodded and gestured for the variant to approach. With a solemn voice, the variant announced that he had bad news. I asked him to proceed, and he informed me that two cities, Noah Gait and Oliver Moran, had combined their forces and were planning to launch a massive attack against us because they perceived us as a threat to their power and influence. The news came as a shock to me, and I couldn\'t help but wonder what the future held for my army and me.

Noah Gait - Rank 2

Oliver Moran - Rank 3

They were two people whose rankings never changed, throughout the months, they always stayed near the top.
